During the summer in 2020, we embarked upon an epic 6000 mile FiveExplore road trip across the US in our family car with 3 kids. #fiveexplore #roadtripusa2020 #travellingduringcovid19
We were originally planning to drive the Oregon trail from New Jersey across to Portland, head up to Vancouver via Seattle and then fly home. Due to Covid19 restrictions, we decided to take our own car and make it a round trip, which meant doubling the states we got to visit! I am actually so pleased we did this because we had so much more flexibility and we got to see places that we wouldn't otherwise have visited.
The road trip was exciting, scary, memorable, tiring and epic and I wouldn't trade the amazing experience that we shared together as a family. We are now living back in the UK and thinking back to our amazing adventures in the US.
