Northeast US Road Trip 2022 - Dear Diary by Lyra - Day 4 2022

Title: A Day In The Deep Blue

I woke up at seven and got changed as usual but today I had to put on warm clothes, we were going on a boat! It was a whale watching boat.

We went downstairs and had breakfast with our grandparents, then we got in the car and drove there. We arrived at the place and headed to the boat. We sat on the side of the boat although later we headed to a sunnier spot.

Sadly, at some point in the trip Alaina fell down the stairs, I immediately began opening my bag as I had plasters (band-aids) in there. She felt better in a bit and we all waited outside to see a whale.

After the trip (we hadn't seen any whales) we got tickets to come again for free.

Then, in the car my mum asked if we wanted to do golf or swimming. We decided on golf with no arguments... anyways when we arrived at the golf I was ready! It was really fun and on hole 14 I even got a hole in one!

Then we travelled to a restaurant and had a delicious meal.

After that, we went home to the hotel and we heard noise in the distance.. I didn't care... all I wanted to do was sleep. I got myself tucked in bed. Finally PEACE!!!
